YOUR TASKS:
- Sets up machine work cells per documented set-up instructions
- Ensures that all work cells have required resources to continuously produce parts
- Prepared work cells ahead of time for tool changes.
- Ensures production cells are continuously operating within designated parameters
- Trains new operators to the appropriate Level 1 and Level 2 OJT checklists
- Monitors and reports daily production results and performs hourly LPMS checks
- Ensures that all safety measures are followed by employees
- Reports employee infractions to Team Lead as needed
- Covers lunches and breaks for assigned operators to ensure continued quality parts throughout the shift.
- Ensures the operators are following all required procedures, including first piece inspection and hourly quality checks
- Verify scrap pieces for ability to rework.
- Weekly 5S Audits
- Daily LPA’s
- Tooling TPM
- Coach during Tool Change
- Participates in Workshops/Lean Basic Projects
- Communication – Pass Down from Shift to Shift
- Temperature readings for large presses
- Gauge repair Checks (calibrated, no missing pins or clamps, completely functioning)
- Ability to be a first responder and perform AED
YOUR SKILLS:
- Knowledge of basic problem solving
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance
- Knowledge of TS-16949/ISO140001
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience
